Virtual Tours

If you can’t make it to campus, that’s OK. Colleges share plenty of information about their school virtually. Start here:

Check out a college website and navigate through the following:

  • Look at the Academics page. What are three majors they offer that are interesting to you?
  • Go deeper: Look at each major’s website. Find the list of classes they require - which ones are exciting to you?
  • Look at the Student Life page. What extracurricular activity would you do for fun?
  • Find the Housing page (sometimes it is called Residential Life). Which dorm looks most appealing to you?
  • What do you think will be challenging about college? How does this college offer to support you with that?
  • Take their Virtual Tour.
  • Find the schedule for Virtual Information Sessions on the Admissions page. Sign up for one!
  • Add your name and email address to the college’s email list through the Admissions page.

USE OTHER RESOURCES:

  • Does the school have an Instagram or TikTok account? (Probably!) Follow them for a more informal view of the school.
  • The College Tour is a TV series that showcases colleges through the life of a student.
