Wyoming Boys’ State
Held in Douglas, WY, high school juniors from across the state are invited to participate in a week’s worth of activities to gain knowledge of their state and its governmental structure. Delegates learn first-hand how government works, experiencing what it takes to create and enact laws. The week emphasizes leadership, civic engagement and patriotism.
Pre-College Summer Programs
A pre-college summer program offers high school students the opportunity to take classes at a college and experience college life. You can find programs that focus on a range of subjects from writing and leadership to entrepreneurship or engineering.

Engineering Summer Program
An opportunity for high school juniors to participate in a summer program of hands-on experiences in various engineering fields.
STARTALK Program
A 2-week summer camp focused on learning the Arabic language.
Summer High School Institute
A 3-week summer residential program for approximately one hundred high ability sophomore high school students from around the state. Areas to be investigated: world hunger, plants and people, knights and cowboys, drama, ethics and society, communicating with computers, understanding cultural development, pharmacy, and the links between life and the arts.
Teton STEM Academy
Conducts lessons in physical, health, and life sciences, and engineering, while staying in UW’s dorms for 1-week.
